Custom Louvres and Bartop

Architecture studio Neri&Hu designed the fitout for Kensington Street Social with material references to the site’s past life as a brewery. The design prioritised raw and honest materials including brass, steel, concrete, and masonry. Our scope of work for Kensington Street Social included extensive brass louvres that spanned multuple internal levels and provided a screen and a focal feature for the fitout. The louvres were movable and crafted from brass and fluted glass. 175Design also developed, fabricated and installed an expansive steel bar that extended throughout the space.
